About The Community
Unquestionably, Trotters Gate is one of the premier subdivisions in Liberty Township. Nestled along the scenic O’Shaughnessy Reservoir, this gated community was established in 2002.

Trotters Gate is comprised of only 37 homes, situated on lots of at least an acre. The relatively small size of our community lends a feeling of hometown friendliness where neighbors look out for one another. For those interested in participating, there are community-wide social activities for all ages. Holiday luncheons for women, summertime cook-outs, Easter Egg Hunts for kids and adult get-togethers are scheduled throughout the year.

Despite the small town feeling inside our subdivision, the surrounding area has plenty of “big city” activities to offer. First-class shopping can be found at Polaris Fashion Place and Tuttle Mall. Dining experiences to satisfy everyone in the family are just around every corner. The Columbus Zoo and several golf courses are nearby as are two airports, nationally-ranked hospitals and numerous recreational facilities.

Powell has so much to offer, Money magazine in 2005 ranked it as the best small city in Ohio and one of the top 20 in the United States. The well-supported Olentangy Local Schools system is recognized as one of the best in the region and beyond, and has earned a rating of EXCELLENT or higher on the Ohio Department of Education's Local Report Card for the last seven years. In addition, Newsweek magazine has ranked Olentangy Liberty High School in the top 5% of public high schools in the nation.

• One-time initial contribution of $1500 is collected upon completion of the sale of the property. 
• On-going contributions or regular dues are collected on a quarterly basis at $300 per quarter.
